Bio
I am a freelance designer and costume technician currently based out of Syracuse, New York. I grew up in theater, raised in a home full of acting and song, then fell in love with costume design and construction in college. My degree combination let me focus on costumes and also gave me skills in time management and budgeting, and an understanding of Non-Profit arts.
In the years since graduation, I have thrown myself into costuming, trying everything from design to management to wardrobe. I've designed for children's shows, served as mentor to student designers, worked wardrobe for regional theaters, designed for a New Works Festival, and stepped up to fill in as Shop Manager when necessity called for it. It has been a whirlwind but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I can hardly wait to see what comes next.
